Schedule conference rooms using the Calendar in Outlook for up to 2 hours at a time. Double click under the appropriate room number, on the space for the beginning time that you want to make the reservation. A reservation form will appear. Enter the LCR and conference room #, the person’s full name, and student ID number, and the beginning and ending times in the appropriate fields/boxes. Click on save and close. Example: LCR 113: Omee Thao (#00000). Recurring appointment requests/reservations can be directed to Omee.
All other departments can reserve conference rooms. Please make sure you do not double book a room.
If the person who reserves the conference room does not pick up the key within 10 minutes the reservation can be given to another person.
Conference rooms 114, 118 and 119 have TVs and can play DVDs through laptop computers, or students may check out the DVD player from circulation. Conference rooms 114, 118, 119 have phones. They can make outgoing calls, but if someone wants to call into the conference room, they need to call the seminary main number, (303) 761-2482 and ask for the extension. LCR 114 is ext. 1914; LCR 118 is ext. 1918; LCR 119 is ext. 1919.
RESERVATION REQUESTS FOR THE VERNON GROUNDS READING ROOM – If you receive any requests to reserve the Vernon Grounds Reading Room, please direct the inquiry to Omee, Matt, or Ty Heckelmann, Executive Assistant to the President, at ext. 1224.
If someone who is not connected with the seminary wishes to reserve a conference room, they need to contact Jay Stimson, extension 1218.
When a patron picks up the conference room key, check it out to them. Please NEVER desensitize keys. We want them to set off the alarm if someone takes them out of the library. Room keys have a checkout period of 4 hours, they do not accrue fines. If the patron wants to extend their reservation for another 2 hours they should check in the key and check it out again. If they want to leave the room during their 2 hours, they should leave the key at the circulation desk.
