Who are considered distance or global students?

Students enrolled in Denver Seminary online courses, living beyond a 50-mile radius of Denver Seminary.

What resources are available for distance and global students?

       1. Digital resources - accessed through Denver Seminary's library catalog including eBooks and journal articles.

       2. Digital resources accessed through Denver Seminary's EBSCOhost databases.

       3. Digital resources in the Digital Theological Library which includes hundreds of thousands of eBooks and tens of
           millions of journal articles.

       4. Articles and chapters of books through Interlibrary Loan emailed to distance and global students.

       5. Print books may be requested through the student's local library Interlibrary Loan program.

       6. If there are no eBooks available, print books owned by the Denver campus library may be mailed to students within
the continental United States for up to six weeks at a time. Up to six books may be requested at a time. Students are
personally responsible for returning any borrowed materials safely to the library. Email your request to

             omee.thao@denverseminary.edu.

Your library account stays active after you graduate. You do not need to get another library card or open another account. As an Alum, you are allowed to check out 16 books for 4 weeks.

Alumni have access to a certain number of databases and journals. Please contact the library at 303-762-6962 or library.staff@denverseminary.edu, for a list of available databases for alumni. As this selection is limited, Alumni may want to check with their public library and/or professional organizations for access to additional databases.

Personal property is the responsibility of the individual patron. Lost items found in the Library are held at the Circulation Desk for no more than two weeks. Due to health reasons, we DO NOT keep lunch boxes/food containers and water bottles in the Lost and Found bin.

The library circulation computer system will automatically block a patron's library privilege if he/she fails to pay library fines or return overdue books. A system block will prevent a patron from accessing electronic library databases or checking out items.
